Default How do I get the URL for this thread?

Obviously this idiot is spamming this newsgroup, and I want to report
it to ebay.co.uk. But how do I get the URL to send them? I know I
could copy it from the address bar of my window, but that's specific to
my account, right? Somebody who doesn't have my cookies couldn't see
it.

So my question is, how do I get a generic link to this post so I can
report it? Thanks!

You understand that most of us don't use Google, we use real
newsreaders. Posts aren't links.

That being said, the best thing to do is click "show options" on the
post in question. On the expanded header, click "show original". This
will open a new window with just that post, and full headers displayed.
Cut and paste the text or use the link in that window.

Fantastic! Thanks very much. I was pretty sure I didn't make sense.

If / When I get mail that I think is BOGUS and from either eBay or
PayPal I forward the message to spoof at
. They in turn verify if the email that I got was real
or spam. I'm sure that you cpould probably forward this msg to them
and ask that they investigate.
