Default low-cal dessert

Here is an excellent low-cal dessert. It is a kind of custard or flan,
but has a fraction of the calories. Use one cup of Hood nonfat milk (45
cal). Add 7 small packets of Splenda or some other equivalent sugar
substitute. Add 1 quarter cup of Egg beaters or just egg whites ( 30
cal). Heat on medium in a saucepan stirring constantly with a wooden
spoon until it boils for a minute and thickens. Remove from heat and
add vanilla and stir it in. Then pour the custard into two smaller
serving bowls such as tempered glass or stonewear. Sprinkle cinnamon on
top. After it cools to room temp, place in refrig. When cool add about
1 quarter cup of Smuckers sugar-free pancake syrup which is maple
flavored. Serve. Makes 2 servings of 50 cal. each. dkw
