Help! I am stuck in the northeast and need to order some stone ground grits
(all I can get here is Quaker). Does anyone have a source for good grits
with reasonable shipping costs? I don't want to pay the equivalent of $6.00
per pound including shipping.

Have you tried some of the coops? At my coop in here in Lebanon, NH I
can get stone-ground grits.

where you were stuck.

As a matter of fact, I'm in PA, too (and withe the exception of not being
able to get decent grits, I don't consider it stuck, really), so I'll have
to check out the Acme. Last time I was there, I did not see them in the
same section as the Quaker grits, but perhaps they're with the polenta.

I don't know! I was going by www.acmemarkets.com in my zipcode.

Maybe around the flour section?
