*Chuckle* I guess I'm a heathen, I put a combination of ketchup,
mustard, and brown sugar on meatloaves...

I put a little ketchup *in* my meatloaf, too. But I'd never frost my
meatloaf with tomato-anything. Doesn't go with the brown gravy.

And yes, you're commiting a cardinal sin by not making mashed potatoes
with meatloaf. And a can of corn. White corn.

Oh, I like this idea! A filled omelet would hold the filling and also be
quite yummy!

My mom did that with Spam, except she broiled it. I can't begin to
tell you how much I hated that. I'd rather eat a parsnip with
rosemary on it. (I hate parsnips and rosemary)

Mrs. Dash must die, after taking an infinite amount of time, finally, on
15 Aug 2006, typed out:

Mrs. Dash,

I studied your dish and thought about it much of the day and it would
never have occured to me to try such a thing.

I'd definitely try a slice, as long it was hotter than it looked. That
cold cake image bothers me.

Maybe if the mashed potato icing were further covered in crumbled
French's French fried onions it'd be more palettable.

Or not...

Sounds like the basic ingredients that start a lot of BBQ sauces.

I like raw cauliflower. I haven't tried the mashed stuff, but it just
doesn't sound appealing to me at all. <burp>

Well fauxtatoes of course! For those of you who don't know that's well
cooked mashed cauliflower combined w/sour cream, cream cheese, butter,
cheese, whatever you want. It's very tasty. It might be a little "thin"
but you can thicken anything with more cream cheese. Heck, you could use
all cream cheese for die hard low carbers.

Ooooooooooh, or Boursin if you could afford it!

Nononononono..........I'll leave it all for you. I don't think there can be
enough of the other ingredients to mask that horrible, icky taste. And just
for those who say I should try it again, I have. Hub goes to NL every year

My mom's fave meal was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas. Whereas FBS
wants meatloaf, mac and cheese and french cut green beans.
