I just started a new thread on alt.binaries.food.
Pictured are five kitchen tools that were initially unknown to me. I have since learned what four of them are, but one is still a mystery. I won't give away any hints, to avoid influencing your opinions. |

Post the picture here. Ha! No way! I'm not going to let you trick me into committing the crime that deserves DEATH of posting a binary to a non-binary newsgroup! |

It probably requires Internet Explorer or accepting cookies to use it, either of which I consider to be an unacceptable security risk. If somebody else wants to grab the jpg files from the thread in alt.binaries.food and upload them to tinypic, I have no objection to that. (Heck, you could even claim that they're your tools and your photos, if you want. :-) |

I don't know which is the cause, but I can't upload an image to tinypic using Netscape with cookies turned off. I do notice that a Javascript error occurs when I try. I certainly will not turn on cookies or run Internet Explorer just to make the photos available. That would be an unacceptable breach of computer security. I would be very pleased if someone else copied the files from alt.binaries.food and uploaded them to tinypic. I'll upload the files myself if someone can find a site for uploading photos that is compatible with Netscape and does not require accepting cookies. |

But, the same security precautions you take to protect your privacy are similar to the precautions websites take which require cookies and other crap. Kind of a Mexican standoff. The only way you can get around it is to get your own webspace, either through your ISP or a 3rd party host provider. Huge amounts of web space to do almost anything can be had for as little as $50-100 year. nb |
