Last week we talked about putting two cold soups in one bowl. I did it
tonight with very good results. We made a honeydew melon soup and a cantaloupe/cherry soup that was much darker in color. When it came time to fill the bowls, I just dipped a 1/2 cup measure into each container, then poured the two side by side. Of course it did not make a straight line, but a sort of yin-yang symbol. Quite nice. The cherry soup was good, but there were tiny bits of the skin in it. The color was nice but the bits of skin gave a slight grainy texture. I guess it could have been strained. If you want presentation, this is something that will get attention. Ed http://pages.cthome.net/edhome/ |
