Well, you've been skewered, fried, broiled and roasted here.
Crucifiction is next, no doubt. And I got some of the same for saying
that it looked to me like your product was well designed in spite of
your sales approach. Seems to me we've both been sufficiently punished
for our sins, but my guess it that our detractors aren't done yet, and
no amount of apologizing will save you. I, for one, appreciate your
candor and accept your apology. Best of luck with some of the others
here!

Again, *I* never did say anything about it being junk. If you reply to my
posts, then you are addressing what I said, not what everyone else said. But
I think that all went over your head.

Gee, this from someone who completely screwed the pooch and misrepresented
my postings due to an inability to keep track of who said what.

Engineers sometimes miss the forest for the trees. Anyone that starts to
design a fire burning container and starts with a polymer plastic base
needs to go back to engineering school.

Hey Jay. The polymer base is no longer. It is now a fully stainless
steel mesh. The weight is the same, it is cool to the touch while
cooking and a lot more sturdy than the plastic base.

However I have to say, the plastic base served really well and in fact
was 1 of time magazine's inventions of the year for 2001. I understand
that there were a few issues where people removed the heat proof
spacers between the chamber and the plastic, and this caused the case
to crack. The stainless steel mesh base solved this problem. The idea
for the polymer base was for safety and is part of what made it so
unique.
