If there is such a tradition it Italy, then this could account for the large tomato production, as Italian politicians aren't very well respected in Italy (or anywhere else for that matter). Andy Smith PS I've found very few primary source examples of thrown tomatoes (except in tomato throwing events), and I've always wondered why. |
