Ketchup was originally made from fish broth and mushrooms. Tomatoes were
added later. Today, ketchup must contain sugar, otherwise it must be called imitation ketchup. - From the Food History section of Oddities & Wonders (www.oddwonder.com). Enjoy! - Jeff |
