Yeah, a lot of store fronts in Harvard Square Cambridge became banks. The first thing you see when you come out of the subway. And guess what? Foot traffic has *dramatically* fallen off in the area in the past 5 years, and many once-thriving shops are now closed and empty. It's shocking how comparatively empty the whole area has become, and how much retail square footage of retail. They killed the golden goose, after raping it first. Dave |
