Okay, I finished making a batch of Barb's B&B pickles, now onwards to more
pickles. I just found a recipe for Mongo Hot pickles. Hubby likes anything remotely indicative of removing the hair from his tongue, so I will make a big batch of them next. Monday is the gotofairgroundsstandinlinefillouttheforms day for the Allentown Fair. Gotta go through the list and see what I want to actually submit this year. I am definitely going to try to submit my chili for the chili cookoff. A few other submissions and hopefully my take will cover the cost of the application (cost $10 to submit)...most BIG prizes never amount to more than $5 for a blue ribbon, but you do get free passes for the fair and the good feeling you get slowly seeing yourself turn into a ribbon whore. Wish me luck. -ginny |

I think I'll call them Pentacostal Preacher Pickles.....they're so hot you'll be jumping around like a Pentacostal Preacher at a Tent Revival! -ginny |
