Default glucocide (rutin) prevention in pickled asparagus

I have endlessly tried to find ways to stop the rutin crystals from
forming on my pickled asparagus. Is there some process that i'm not
aware of ? If Tin cans prevent it, what can I add to my glass jars
that will prevent the unsightly yellow spots? I know they aren't
harmful, but they aren't pretty either.
