Default Small-Batch Preserving Cookbook

Thanks to Edrena mentioning the title and a 20% off coupon from Borders,
I now own the book.

I haven't gotten too far into it but some of the recipes sound
delicious. The batches aren't as small as I expected, but I believe it
will do nicely.

I am newly retired and in the past 10 days have made 58 jars of apricot
BWB jam, freezer jam, and butter from the huge crop we had on our trees
this year. In addition we have given away many bags of fruit. I'm now
thinking about other fruit and pickles and Putting Food By, the Ball
Blue Book, and 70's USDA guides aren't creative enough for me right now.

Thanks, Edrena!

Take a look at the Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving, published a
couple years ago. Lots of stuff in it.

Need a bank loan for sugar. '-)
