I am hoping that it is not a Chinese knock off, but will see when it
gets here. -- Susan N. "Moral indignation is in most cases two percent moral, 48 percent indignation, and 50 percent envy." Vittorio De Sica, Italian movie director (1901-1974) |

I can't believe you paid $32.00 for that thing, mine cost 50 cents over 40 years ago, bought it at the local feed and stuff store in Orange, TX. Store is still there, has been since the twenties, no more grip tite's though. You will find the Grip Tite is a lot more handy to use than the modern jar lifters. I am under threat of being dug up and killed again if I don't leave mine to Barb when I go the great canning kitchen in the sky. |

I think the last one sold on Ebay for about that amount. |

I wish I had the manufacturing capability to make them, I think they would sell really well. I do have some Inconel rod that would do the trick, maybe I can get a friend with a torch to help me develop one. |

I was sound asleep when the auction ended. I don't think I have lost a bid since I started using esnipe unless I was overbid. They let you know if the bid goes over your top if there is time to get a new one in. The other good thing is that if I am not there I am not tempted to bid more. |
