Default Drying tomatoes - pro/con of removing pulp/seeds?

Some instructions for drying tomatoes say remove the seeds, others
don't bother.
Any pros/cons either way? - Mike

About all I can say, Mike, is that it depends on how much prep work you
want to do and whether or not the seeds in the dried tomatoes bother
you. I don't do them - most of the ones I've purchased have the
seeds. I don't mind.

Thanks for the input Barb - having a great time with the romas except
for two things: Because I only have seven plants and they don't all
come in at the same time, some have to sit on the shelf for a day or
two while others ripen on the vine.
Second, I can't get the leathery texture I'm looking for; I think mine
are too dry, but to their credit, in a ziplock bag, they seem to
redistribute the moisture amongst themselves

Beefsteaks and Early girls get a quick rinse and into the freezer;
they will get canned later.

Regards, Mike
