Default An early Christmas present

Our latest great grandchild was born last night, 12/16/2009 at 10:24 pm
CST. Molly Anne Robertson weighed in at 8 lbs, 8 ounces, and 20 inches
long. She has her father's dark hair, a brownette versus a brunette.

Now we have another three months to wait for the next great grandkid. We
are so proud that one of our greats now bears her great grannies name,
even if it is the middle one.

Congratulations to the proud great-grandparents as well as the grand
parents and, can't forget the parents for sure.
Does it make you feel just a bit older George?
Less than 2 months from now it'll be 30 years since my first
granddaughter was born and I remember thinking then that I was far too
young to be a grandpa.

Best regards,

Ross.

This our third one, all sired by our eldest grandson. The middle
grandson and his lady are expecting in March, sonogram says it will be a
boy. We currently have three great granddaughters, all beautiful.

Congrats to George, Miz Anne and the 2 generations of spawn responsible for
this fabulous event!

Molly Anne shares her special day with my niece who joined this world 16
years ago.

I've been spending the last month processing the fact that I will be a
grandma for the first time in the spring. The dates keep changing, though,
but the most current date is sometime in April. This is my oldest daughter
who is almost 30 and thought she would never have any children at all due to
some underlying health problems.

Oh, and the ultrasound done yesterday says it will be a boy. I was sort of
hoping for a girl because I have lots and lots of sewing patterns for girls'
clothes, not so much boys (even though I had three boys and only two girls
myself). I still have other children who can give me girls, though :-)

Welcome to the world, Molly Anne.

Congratulations to you and Miz Anne. Babies are wonderful, even
if our visiting 6 wk. old grandson screamed half the night.
Colicky babies are easier to deal with of they aren't yours.
Somehow you can be more objective about the screaming.

I don't remember either of our babies being colicky. Of course, back
then, most mothers breast fed their babies. They always seemed to be fat
and happy babes. I wasn't always around them then because I worked shift
in a chemical plant so they may have been colicky on the nights I was
working evenings or graveyards.
