i'd love the sunshine and moderate temperatures, but
as we're seeing now they're not really set up for
extended dry periods. why they've never focused on
water recycling and rainwater capture to a high degree
i don't quite get other than the fact that the imported
water was so cheap. and i'm glad to see they're doing
more work in those directions now -- they have a long
long ways to go.

i'd hate to be there stuck now with a garden and
fruit trees and no water or having to rely upon rains.

in Denver didn't they just shelve the rain water
capture issue again?

you guys sure have had the rains recently. wish
they'd shift a little west into the Colorado River
watershed to give lakes Mead and Powell a bit of a
break.
