Default Does anyone have a recipe for apple butter

Apples were on sale at the store and I still have about 8 lbs. left to
make apple butter. (I made cake, tarts, pies, sauce with the rest).

I've seen how-to's on the net to cook this either in a microwave or
crockpot but is there a way to do this in the oven at slow temps?

Whatever recipe you can give is good for me and one last question, do
I can & BWB this like everything else or is it better to freeze.

Thank you for all your help, I'm new on this one!

Liz
