I have several recipes for pepper sauces which call for putting the
sauce into sterilized jars. Can the jars be like the ones in the grocery store, the tall skinny kind? Those would be more convenient to use for sauce than the Ball jars. The recipes don't call for a water bath, nor do they mention sealing with canning lids. They just call for them to be sterilized. Can anyone tell me if they will be ok? Thanks. Pepperlady. |
