Default To all: catching up and saying Thanks

The past while has been really bad in terms of recuperating from the
blood poisoning. I'm on a third course of antibiotics and surgery is
slated for Wednesday next in the afternoon.

Since I was stupid enough to leave the tooth and allow the infection
to take hold and spread, I've damaged 3 other teeth in the process and
caused bone damage to my jaw. Saw the Xray yesterday and my sinuses
are really messed up as well as a bunch of other stuff I now have to
deal with. There's a good possibility I'll have to have dentures
because of the damage both upper and lower. I'll know better in a few
months.

I didn't think that ignoring just one tooth could cause so much havoc
on my body. I'm hoping the chest pains are temporary and caused by a
really bad case of nerves.

Anyway - I'm going to take a sabbatical and to get better.

Since my ISP is cancelling access to Usenet tomorrow, I'll be cut of
directly from accessing you all. I wanted to thank all you you for all
the super advice and good humour, as well as the recipes and years of
wisdom.

My thoughts and prayers are with those of you like George who are
recuperating (George if you see this, I had a mild stroke last year
which affected my speech. I get stuck with words and my gait is a bit
awkward. The nice thing about typing answers is that you don't hear my
long pauses while I try to get the word out, my sentences are smooth
and without pauses! <G> Stay strong, George, and I'm praying for your
full and speedy recovery!)

Anyway - I'll read your posts through Google once I get through the
next couple of weeks and catch up. In the meantime thank you all once
again for your wit and wisdom, your advice, recipes and kindness.

Until then
Karen

Take good care of yourself. I hope you have a quick recovery.

Those Dastards!

Check out www.individual.net. I've been using them for years (they used
to be free.) My ISP has a news server, but I like individual.net better.

Best regards,
Bob

Karen, you have had it handed it you, all right! Jeez, Woman! Who
would have thought a toothache would ever lead to blood poisoning, much
less what you're now looking at? I am so sorry! This is just the pits
and the timing sucks, besides!

Take care of you. God be with you!

Good luck and best wishes Karen - the DH has some store bought teeth and I
still love him. We need all y'all here.

While I still have a Usenet connection, thanks for the links and the
kind words. I'll follow up on the links for sure

Y'all are really super people - and the humour really helps too <big
smile>

Take care, stay well and keep your dentist appointments. You don't
want to end up with major problems like me.

Best, Karen [wondering how long before my ISP shuts down ng access)
