Does anyone have a recipe formaking a jam out of the fruit of the
Medlar 'nottingham'. I have this growing in the garden - but don't know how to make a jam from it. Thanks |

Might a recipe for American persimmons work? Don't they essentially have to
"blet", like the medlars do? BTW, if anyone in the Boston, MA area has a medlar tree, I'd love to taste one of the fruit in the fall to see what they are like.
