Default Cherries

Does anyone know the correct mix for "Cherries in Kirsch". I can't
find any recipes in the UK. I have actually bought a bottle and loved
them but they only show the contents as Kirsch, water and cherries. I
intend buying cherries in bulk in the season and preserving them but
would like to get it right. Any Ideas?
Tony
