Hi all,
I processed some Dilly Green Beans tonight, and I had four jars. Three were standard pint and quart Kerr/Ball masons, and one was marked "Ball" refrigerator/freezer. I believe it was designed for freezer jams, and it was sized like a wide mouth pint jar in diameter, but it was taller with four or five glass ribs down the side. This jar broke when I put it in the water bath -is it not designed for water bath processing? Can anyone help? Olga. |

AFAIK the refrigerator/freezer jars are not designed for BWB at all,
just use as noted on the jar.
