![]() Lamb Roll with Brown Sauce Stuffing; 2 cup ground lamb (about 1 lb.) 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 Tbsp. lamb fat ( if roasted ) 2 oz. chopped mushrooms drained 1 small onion minced 1 tsp. parsley 2 Tbsp. chopped, stuffed olives 2 Tbsp. pickle relish 1/4 tsp. dry mustard Put all in heavy skillet, cook over low heat; drain & cool. Bread; 2 1/4 cup Bisquick baking mix 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning 2/3 cup milk mix & roll out to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick Sauce; In seperate skillet, 1/4 cup lamb fat or lard 1 med onion minced 2 tsp. parsley 1 carrot, grated healthy pinch of thyme 1 bay leaf salt & pepper to taste 1/4 cup flour mix all, & brown add to this, 3 c. beef broth & simmer Stuff bread dough with meat mixture, roll & pinch together, covering ends.
