Carrabba's Minestrone Soup
Looking specifically for the minestrone soup recipe served at the Carrabba's
Italian Grill. Not sure what the base of the soup is as well as all the other
ingredients. THANKS if you can help me.

ranchburgers? loose meat sandwich? maid-rites?
Hello, I am looking for a recipe for a dish that used to be served in our high
school cafeteria. They called them "ranchburgers" but everything I've searched
for has nothing to that effect, only regular hamburgers made with ranch dressing.
What I'm looking for is an open faced sandwich served on a toasted bun heel. The
hamburger is served loose, not as a patty, similar to a "sloppy joe" style. The
meat was made with some kind of light gravy or sauce, but not as thick as creamed
chipped beef. They were topped with shredded cheddar cheese. It might just be a
regional dish or go by another name in other parts of the country but I'm
starting to think I'm crazy because I can't even find confirmation that these
even exisited! ha ha. Thanks in advance.

Have a lot of slices of "stale" grain/multi-grain bread.
Any recipes about so that it can be used - rather than wasted.
Savoury or sweet is ok.
Thankyou
Graham
