No Fry Chicken Parmesan
Serves: 4 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/4 pounds) 1 egg(s), beaten 3/4 cup Italian seasoned dry breadcrumbs (26-ounce jar) pasta sauce - traditional 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 ounces) Preheat oven to 400 F. Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs, coating well. In 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish, arrange chicken. Bake uncovered 20 minutes. Pour pasta sauce over chicken, then top with cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Serve, if desired, with hot pasta. -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia Hill at .
