Default Holiday Nut Drop Cookies

Holiday Nut Drop Cookies

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped unsalted mixed nuts
1/2 cup mini M&M's candies

Heat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Mix together flour,
baking soda and salt in a bowl. Beat brown sugar and butter in bowl
until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir
in flour mixture. fold in nuts and chocolate pieces. Drop by rounded
measuring tablespoons, 2-inches apart, onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake in 350 F to 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned at edges. Let
cool slightly on baking sheets. Transfer to wire rack to cool. Store in
airtight container. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
