Amish Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda (baking)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cup flour

Cream sugars, butter and shortening. Add peanut butter and mix well. Add
eggs and mix well. Ad baking soda, salt and vanilla gradually add flour.
Roll into balls and place 2 inches. Apart on cookie sheet flatten balls
with fork dipped in flour. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 5
dozen.
