Mock Apple Pie

1 1/4 cup sugar
2 cup water
2 heaping tsp. cream of tartar
18 Ritz crackers
Uncooked pie crust
cinnamon
butter

Combine sugar, water, and cream of tartar. Let come to boil. Drop in Ritz
crackers
Don't stir, simmer 10 minutes (turn heat down). Pour into uncooked crust.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and butter, bake at 425 until brown (20-25 min.)
