Gramma Shelton's Peanut Butter Fudge

2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 cup Carnation evaporated milk or
whole milk
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
4 Tbsp. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook sugar, salt, milk, and corn syrup to soft ball stage (234 degrees).
Cool. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Put in 9 x 9 x 2
pan. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
