I'm looking for a breakfast bar-type recipe using oatmeal. Anything
similar
to a cereal bar you'd buy at the grocery store is what I have in mind, but
I'll keep my options open. Thanks in advance!

When I was little my mom made a wonderful Burnt Sugar Cake with Burnt
Sugar frosting. My sister and I sure would like to know how to make it.
Thanks.....

I'm seeking a recipe for old-fashioned hard candy. I have severe
allergies and can no longer use products like certs or tic-tacs. I'll
need to make a product for myself.
I am allergic to gum, and I'm struggling to find a recipe that doesn't
call for gum. NOTE: Gum is often an ingredient in confectioners
sugar. Ideally, I'd like to find a recipe that doesn't call for corn
oil or confectioners sugar. White granulated sugar is fine.
I know this is possible. Mints used to be made in this pure fashion -
before mass production took over. It just seems like nobody thought
to save a recipe.

Any ideas appreciated.

We really enjoy the pecan halves one gets in a can of mixed nuts (for
example: Planters)
We live in pecan country and have an abundance of pecans, but we can not
find a recipe for fixing them. Frankly, I can't even tell if they are
roasted or fried. Anyone know how to fix them?

Thanks, Bob

I would like a recipe for sour dough bread; like they serve in Gastown; in
the Old Spagetti Factory. I would like to bake it at home.
Sincerely;
Ingrid Kraemer
