Default Alfredo Sauce

Alfredo Sauce

1 1/2 pound pasta
1/4 cup butter/margarine
1/2 pint heavy or whipping cream
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoonful grated nutmeg (opt)
salt and pepper to taste

Cook pasta. Drain and put back in pot. In a sauce pan place butter or
margarine. Mix well until butter melts. Add cream. Over VERY low heat,
cook gently while stirring until cream thickens slightly. Remove from
heat and add cheese and seasonings. Pour over Pasta mixing well.

Makes 4 serving
