Hobo dinners
1 large potato 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 Center Cut Pork Chop, approx 1/2 inch thick 1/2 onion, sliced 1/2 green pepper, sliced dash of worchestershire sauce dash of onion salt dash of garlic salt pepper to taste pat of butter Brown pork chop in skillet with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. Set aside. Place sliced potatoe, onion, and green pepper in the middle of a generous sheet of aluminum foil. Place the Pork chop on top of the potatoes. Sprinkle entire pkg with dry seasonings and worchestershire sauce. Top with a pat of butter. Fold aluminum foil over and crimp to make air and liquid tight. Repeat for however many pork servings you want. I've added sliced carrots, mushrooms and celery at times too for a real taste treat. These can be frozen individually or as I do. I buy the chops on sale and get as many as I can afford. I place several in a large sealable plastic bag and take out however many I need at a time. Preheat oven to 350 F and place foil package crimped side up on cookie sheet. Bake for around an hour or so. Do not puncture the foil pouch unless you want a horrible mess in your oven. -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia Hill at . Only recipes and recipe requests are accepted for posting.
