My Favorite Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

1-1/2 cups Butter, softened
2-1/2 cups packed Brown Sugar
4 Tbsp. Milk
2 Tbsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs
3-1/2 cups Flour
2 tsp, Salt
1-1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 (12-oz.) bag Chocolate Chips, I prefer Milk Chocolate Chips
1-1/2 cups chopped Pecans or Walnuts

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, brown
sugar, milk, and vanilla on medium speed of mixer until well blended.
Add eggs; beat well after each addition. Stir together flour, salt and
baking soda. Gradually add to sugar mixture, beating on low speed of
mixer, just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts by hand. Roll
dough into 1" balls and place 2" apart on baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes
or just until cookies start to brown around edges. Cool 2 minutes before
removing to cooling racks. Yields: about 6 dozen

My Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

2 cups Brown Sugar
1 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Chunky Peanut Butter, my favorite is Jiff
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 large Eggs
2-1/2 cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
8 tsp. Sugar, set aside

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees Ungreased Cookie Sheets In large bowl, combine
sugar and butter, beat until fluffy. Add peanut butter, vanilla and eggs,
blend well. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Shape dough into 1" balls,
place on baking sheet 2" apart, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake on middle
rack level of oven. Bake 6-9 minutes, but watch closely. As soon as
cookies start browning on the edges, remove from oven. Before baking you
can dip tines of fork into sugar you set aside and make criss-cross lines
on top of cookies. Yield: 7 to 8 dozen BonApetite' PattyG from Missouri
