Apple Oat Drops
Blueberry Drop Cookies
Krispie Kookies



Apple Oat Drops

1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce, canned or fresh
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 Stir the sugars into the applesauce. Sift together
the flour, baking power, salt and spices. Stir in to the applesauce
mixture. Add the oats and raisins. Mix well. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto
lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Place on wire rack to
cool.



Blueberry Drop Cookies

1 cup fresh, canned or frozen blueberries
3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 & 1/2 teaspoons gratted lemon rind or zest
4 Tablespoons sour cream
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/ teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk

Rinse the blueberries, (defrost first if frozen), and spread on paper
towels
to dry thoroughly. Cream the butter, sugar, and lemon peel. Add the sour
cream. Beat well.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the flour mixture
alternately with milk to the creamed mixture, beating until smooth after
each
addition. Lightly fold in the blueberries.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool
on
wire rack.




Krispie Kookies

1& 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups rice krispies/puffed rice
1 cup carob chips

Preheat oven to 350 Sift together the flour and cinnamon. Set aside.
Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla until fluff and light. Add
dry ingredients with the rice and chips. Mix well. Drop by level
tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets and bake for about 15 minutes
or till pale golden brown.
