![]() Super-Quick Scones 3 Tablespoons margarine 3 Tablespoons of sugar 1 3/4 (one and three quarters) cup Low Fat Bisquick 1/2 cup milk (I use fat free) 1/2 cup frozen berries. Use a glass bowl to melt margarine in the microwave. Stir in sugar. Gradually add Low Fat Bisquick. Mixture will be coarse and crumbly when finished. Add milk (I use fat free), stir until combined, then gently fold in frozen berries. Drop by large spoonful onto a cookie sheet (like biscuits) and bake in preheated 450 degree oven for 10 minutes, until the peaks are browned. These are great and use only common ingredients plus the frozen berries therefore no advance planning required. I have used chocolate chips in place of berries. -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia Hill at . Only recipes and recipe requests are accepted for posting.
