Default Bunco Bread

Bunco Bread

1 loaf of French bread
1 lb. of pan sausage
1 lb of ground meat
1 pkg. Lipton Onion Soup mix
2 Tbsp warm water
2 eggs, beaten
2 cup grated cheese
1 cup picante sauce

Slice the French bread through the middle and dig out the soft insides.
Save the insides and crumble it. Brown the sausage and ground meat. Drain
it well. In a bowl, combine onion soup mix and 2 Tbsp water into a paste.
Combine the crumbled bread, eggs, onion soup mix, grated cheese and
picante sauce. Stuff the meat mixture into the French bread shell. Top
with more grated cheese. Wrap in foil. Bake at 325 degrees for about 30
minutes. Slice and serve warm. Mixture makes enough for 2 loaves. You can
freeze 1/2 and save for later .
