Default West Indian Bean Dip

West Indian Bean Dip

6 bacon slices
1 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp cumin
2 19 oz cans of white beans.

Fry and chop up the bacon. Set aside. Fry the onion and garlic in 2 Tbsp
of the bacon grease. Add the chili posder and cumin and beans. Puree the
mixture until smooth. Crumble the bacon and stir in. Add salt and pepper
to taste. Serve at room temperature with tortilla chips or crudites.

Makes 4 cups
