Default Lazy Gourmet Pot Roast

Lazy Gourmet Pot Roast

1 3-4 lb. chuck roast
1 can french onion soup
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 small can beef broth
1 soup can water
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1/2 tsp chopped bay leaf or
1 whole bay leaf
salt and pepper

Takes about 5 hrs to cook Preheat oven to 325 degrees Place roast in 9 x
13 or larger baking dish. Do not brown first. Mix all other ingredients in
large bowl except salt and pepper. Pour over roast. Salt and Pepper to
taste. Cover with foil and bake for about 5 hrs.. Makes its own gravy. If
desired, potatoes and carrots may be added about an hour before serving.
