Swiss Steak
I am trying to find a recipe for swiss steak that does not involve
tomatoes or tomato juice. McCormic used to have a packet that I used and
you marinaded the meat in the seasoning packet mixed with water, then
floured the meat, browned it, and then poured the marinade over it and
slowly cooked it. It made a brown gravy while it cooked. I can't find a
recipe for swiss steak without tomatoes anywhere, please help me.

Fast & Fresh Fruit Sorbet
I found this in Better Homes and Gardens magazine, but I can't remember
which month it was and I can't find it on their website. I remember it
being really easy, but I can't remember it. If you know it and can send it
to me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!!!!

I am wondering if there is any way to get a similar recipe to the one used
for the lastest diet trend, the Cookie Diet.

I used to buy jars of 'Chunda Chutney' from the local Indian Deli but it's
changed hands and they no longer stock it. The new owners say they can't
get
it and no one else seems to stock it or know anything about it, so, I
thought I'd have a go at making my own but does anyone know of a recipe,
please?
It's a beautiful sweet chutney (red to orange in colour) with a tangy
after-taste (I don't know what gives it that sharpness or after-taste) and
when I get a jar it doesn't last long (another reason to make it myself -
I
could make larger
jars!).
>From the Internet, from a few places that offer it for sale,it seems that
it's basically a mild mango chutney, with ginger, raisins, and red
chillies,
so the ginger may be that after-taste. If I can't get a recipe, I'll start
with the information I've got and see what I can produce - it may even be
edible!
