Default Chicken Adouba

Chicken Adouba

2 lbs. chicken
3 bay leaves
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 onion, sliced into rings
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar, white or cider
1/4 cup soy sauce

Put all of the above into a covered pot. Simmer until done. (You can
put frozen chicken pieces in the pot, too. It will just take a little
longer!)

Good served with rice. Use the juice to go on top of the rice.
