This may not be what Lauren had in mind, but it is very good. I've had
the recipe for years, and it is the only "Chicken Fried Chicken" I've ever seen Chicken-fried Chicken 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts 4 Tablespoons white wine 2 Tablespoons sesame oil 2 Tablespoons sugar 4 Tablespoons soy sauce 2 cloves garlic, mashed 2 eggs slightly beaten 1 1/2 Cups very fine bread crumbs 4-6 Tablespoons butter Pound chicken breasts thin between sheets of wax paper, and place in leakproof container. Combine, wine, sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce and garlic, and marinate chicken in the refrigerator, covered, for 24 hours. If liquid doesn't cover the chicken, turn once. Drain chicken breasts, and dip in egg followed by bread crumbs. Be sure it is evenly coated. To cook, heat butter over medium high heat and sauté lightly until done. Check by slicing the thickest part of the meat. If juices are clear and the meat is not pink, it is done. 4 servings -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia D. Hill at .
