Banana Cranberry Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookies

Banana Cranberry Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookies

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ripe/frozen mashed bananas
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 toasted wheat germ
2 cups rolled oats
6 oz. dried cranberries
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Beat together butter, peanut butter. Add eggs, brown sugar into mixture,
beat. Add vanilla, bananas, baking soda and salt. Continue to beat this
mixture. Mix flours and wheat germ and add to mixture. Stir in rolled
oats, cranberries and chocolate chips. Mix well. Line cookie pans with
wax paper and drop about 1/4 cup mixture onto pans. Spread to 4" rounds.
Bake at 350F for 15 mins. Remove and cool on racks. Let cool for at least
45 minutes. Serve immediately or store in air tight container in freezer.
These cookies are perfect for the working family if they are wrapped
individually and stored in freezer. There's no excuse not to get your
breakfast anymore!
