Default White Gravy

White Gravy

1 Tbsp meat drippings or margarine
2 Tbsp flour
8 oz milk
salt
ground black pepper to taste

In a large skillet, heat drippings over medium heat. Stir in flour.
Cook, stirring constantly, 2 to 3 minutes until flour turns golden. Add
milk and cook, stirring constantly with a whisk until gravy is smooth
and thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
