Beer Barbecued Whole Chicken
submitted by butterflydog 1/4 cup olive oil 1 small onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, chopped 6 tablespoons lemon juice 2 cups beer 2 cups bottled sweet barbecue sauce like Kansas City Brand 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon salt Great sauce for whatever you like to marinade for the grill Heat oil and saute onion and garlic until soft. Add lemon juice, beer, barbecue sauce Worcestershire and salt. Cook over medium heat until sauce bubbles, about 5 minutes. Cool. Use sauce to either baste beef, pork or poultry parts while grilling or use a marinade .
