Default Cheesy Mexidogs

Cheesy Mexidogs

Prep Tim: 20 minutes

6 (8-inch) flour tortillas
1 (15-oz.) can Old El Paso Refried Beans
6 Tbsp Old El Paso Thick n Chunky Salsa
6 hot dogs
4 oz. (1 cup) shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Microwave Directions: If desired, warm tortillas as directed on package.
On each tortilla, spread a generous 1/4 cup refried beans to within 1 inch
of edge. Spoon 1 Tbsp salsa over beans. Place 1 hot dog near edge of
tortilla; sprinkle 1/6 of cheese next to hot dog. Start rolling tortilla
over hot dog; fold up bottom and continue rolling, leaving top open.
Repeat to make remaining sandwiches. Place seam side down in ungreased 12
x 8 inch (2-qt) or 13 x 9 inch (3-quart) microwave safe dish. Cover
tightly with microwave-safe plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH for 5-7 inutes
or until hot dogs are thoroughly heated and cheese is melted, rotating
dish once halfway through cooking.

Conventional Directions: Heat oven to 350 F. Prepare sandwiches as
directed above; place seam side down in ungreased 12 x 8 inch (2 quart) or
13 x 9 inch (3 quart) baking dish. Cover dish tightly with foil. Bake at
350F for 20-30 minutes or until hot dogs are thoroughly heated and cheese
is melted.

6 sandwiches.
