Default Easy Onion Rice

Easy Onion Rice

Makes 4 servings
Rice with taste appeal!

3/4 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
1 (10-1/2 ounce) can French onion soup
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 2-quart casserole. Mix rice,
soup, water, and margarine. Pour into prepared casserole. Bake 45 minutes
to 1 hour until rice is tender, stirring once after baking 30 minutes.


Easy Onion Rice - Version #2
1 cup uncooked rice
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can beef consomme
1 soup can of water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 2-quart casserole. Mix rice,
soup, water, and margarine. Pour into prepared casserole. Bake 45 minutes
to 1 hour until rice is tender, stirring once after baking 30 minutes.
