Rhubarb Cookies

Recipe by: Mary Lou Bucklin

1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cup rhubarb
1 cup nuts (optional)

Min together in order given. Drop on greasrd cookie sheet Bake at 350
degrees for 10 minutes
