> Irish Lamb Stew, please !! * Exported from MasterCook * Stew-Irish Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient, Preparation Method ------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 pounds lamb, cubed, 1 1/2" cubes 1 teaspoon salt 2 bay leaves 2 onions, peeled and quartered 4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered 1/3 cup celery, chopped 2 carrots, cut in 1/2" slices 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 3 cups boiling water 2 tablespoons parsley Combine lamb, salt, pepper and bay leaf with boiling water; simmer covered for 1 hour. Add onion, potato, celery and carrots. Put back over the heat and simmer 20 minutes. Remove the bay leaf. In a small bowl, combine flour and 1/4 cup water; mix to form a paste.
