Lamb Stew Thickened With Honey
1 lb. cooked lamb roast, in stewing pieces 2 cup chopped parsley 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 cinnamon stick salt & pepper - to taste pinch of saffron 2 tsp. red wine vinegar 1 cup red wine 4 tsp. honey Combine all ingredients except honey in a sauce pan; bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cook until the onion is soft. Add honey and cook for several minutes, until the stew thickens. Remove cinnamon stick; serve.
